Electric Expressions was founded in 1990 by Henri Montegut and took over the New Orleans area. The shop was run by him until July 2022 when he gave the shop to Frank Webb due to Henri believing in him carrying the legacy. In July 2023 Frank and Henri decided to get Skinny in the picture due to his expertise in customer service and business. Today the legacy strives through each and everyone of us. Our mission statement is simply to provide, not only a top tier service, but to be our customers’ family. People can go anywhere and get a tattoo or piercing but they can only experience Electric Expressions with us. We promise to always make sure every customer leaves with the service happy no matter what!
Henri and Kayce Montegut
Henri and Kayce Montegut are the founders of Electric Expressions. Henri started the shop in 1990, he finished his apprenticeship with local legend Doc Don Lucas, and quickly decided that he wanted to go into business for himself to provide not only excellent tattoos but also a top notch atmosphere to tattoo. His priorities in business were the same as in his personal life , put people first and simply go with the flow and have fun! Kayce blessed Henri in 2003 coming into his life and they matched to build each other and build their lives together. Kayce and Herni have put their lives around the shop for a long time and due to their success they will have their brand around forever! Present day Henri has handed the shop down to Frank Webb and Alex Gonzalez ”Skinny”. Henri and Kayce will always be a part of the shop and they still tattoo and pierce by appointment today! The current owners of Electric Expressions are Frank Webb and Alex Gonzalez “Skinny”. Frank has spent ten plus years in the tattoo industry focused on his art and customer service. Frank has the old school knowledge with the new school vibe. Skinny has spent over ten years in customer service and has run multiple businesses in his young age. All of his credentials are tied to customer service and business. Together they are the dynamic duo to take over the industry with their talents of creativity and drive. Highly recommend! Got nipple piercings done by Skinny on Sunday night. He was so professional, took his time to get everything lined up correctly and explain everything. Kept all items clean and sanitized. They are healing nicely.
