A BRIEF STATEMENT:
Im Danny, New Orleans native, relocated to San Diego, California after hurricane Katrina. SD changed my views and my life. I was introduced to Electric Expressions on my 18th birthday when I was tattooed by Chris Black. After that painful experience I returned again and again because once you go black you never go back. Anyways after attending the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts (NOCCA) and then relocating to San Diego to attend Coronado School of the Arts (CoSA), I decided to attend the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). It didnt work out. So, jobless, worthless, and ashamed, I came back to NOLA and continued getting tattooed. After a difficult search for an apprenticeship I got a incredible phone call from my MOMMA. Shed got me an apprenticeship. So then this mommas boy carried his skinny ass back through the doors of this amazing shop. Since then Ive been here, partying my weekends away and throwing up wu-tang hands and using my cholo slang on this, your local street corner. And I enjoy Traditional style tattooing.
